You could be the turning point

With youth unemployment rising rapidly, we are facing a crisis. For those who were already vulnerable - facing mental health issues, challenges at home or even homelessness - the future was already uncertain, but now they see no way out.

The coronavirus pandemic left young people all over the UK in freefall. Now, having missed out on vital education, training and job opportunities, millions are at risk of being left behind.

Your donation could be the turning point

Today, the work of The Prince’s Trust - which helps young people build confidence and skills - is more vital than ever.

There are already more than half a million young people unemployed and youth joblessness is predicted to reach record highs in the coming months. In addition to this, our new Aspiration Gap research reveals that:

  • 58% of 16 to 25-year-olds are "scared" of being unemployed, while 55% are more worried about being unemployed than they were a year ago
  • 36% of young people believe they will have a "lower quality of life" than their parents, while 46% claim their generation will have fewer opportunities

At this critical time, any amount you can give could make a huge difference. It could be the difference between success and failure or the difference between hope and despair.

Our Young People Relief Fund aims to give every young person the chance to realise their potential - to move into work, education or training.

Will you help us turn things around for young people in the UK?
