Using Prince's Trust premises
Are you looking for a space to hold your mentoring meetings, specialist surgeries or awards assessments?
The Trust welcomes volunteers into our centres and offices for mentor meetings between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Although it is not guaranteed we are able to accommodate your request, if you would like to find out if you are able to hold a meeting at one of our premises, please speak to your Trust contact, or one of the contacts below.
Information for Business Mentors – holding meetings at young peoples' business premises
Business Mentors should be aware that all volunteer-client meetings should take place in a public place or Prince’s Trust office. Home visits should never be undertaken. In circumstances where your client has their own business premises, the following restrictions apply to visits and meetings:
- Volunteers cannot visit a young person’s business premises if they are based in their own home
- Volunteers should not visit a young person’s business premises if they are in a deserted and isolated area with no others present (e.g. a workshop in a quiet industrial estate)
- Volunteers can visit a young person’s business premises if they are considered a public place with others present (e.g. a salon, workshop or cafe with regular clients)
- Volunteers must notify their Trust contact and someone at home should they plan to meet at the young person’s business premises
