What is it?

The Digital Access Club provides drop-in access to the computer suite for job searches, completing applications for jobs and further education, writing CVs and Development Award applications, as well as supporting research for specific sector employment for example requirements/training for CSCS (construction skills certification scheme) card.

As a Digital Access Club volunteer, you will be supporting our staff in delivering additional engagement opportunities for young people. 

The role involves:

  • Supporting the delivery of our new Centre Sessions in the Glasgow Centre. 
  • Providing young people with additional support in our Digital Access Club. 
  • Acting as a sounding-board for a young person to share their thoughts, concerns and aspirations for employment. 
  • Empowering them to make their own decisions around their job and further education searches. 
  • Signposting them to other organisations for support. 

What is the impact?

Your additional support enables The Trust to offer a higher quality of support for our young people providing an additional engagement opportunity in addition to supporting young people with progression on to employment or further education.    

What is the time commitment? 

The Digital Access Club is open every Thursday from 10am to 1pm, ideally we are looking for a commitment for one session per month.
