Sign up to Million Makers
Our sign up window is now open for the 2018 Million Makers competition. Don’t miss out on this exciting and unique opportunity to get your company involved in our work and transform the lives of disadvantaged young people around the country.
Join us in a special year as Million Makers celebrates its tenth anniversary. We are supported by Deborah Meaden, entrepreneur and former BBC Dragons’ Den investor. Thanks to the amazing efforts of our Million Makers alumni we want to reach £10million raised since the competition began in our ten for ten campaign.
The first thing to do is get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 020 7543 1414. We will support your business to get the most out of the competition.
Once you have spoken to The Prince’s Trust there are three stages to signing up to the competition. Most companies begin planning in autumn, however all three need to be completed by 16th March 2018.
How to get started:
1. Identify a senior mentor within your company
We recommend having this person in place before you recruit the team. See our useful links box for a role description.
2. Recruit a Million Makers team
A Million Makers team is made up of 8-15 of your employees. The Prince’s Trust can provide advice, ideas and resources to support you. Once recruited you will need to submit a registration form to The Trust and confirm which region you are entering.
3. Sign a Million Makers agreement
The Million Makers agreement underwrites seed funding provided to your team. Please ask your Prince’s Trust contact for a copy.
Early Bird Reward: Million Makers teams that are registered by 16th February 2018 will get a special early bird package. This will include some extra merchandise and an invitation to an exclusive top tips session.
