The purple smoothie

1 chopped banana

2 pitted Medjool dates 

1 handful of spinach

2 handfuls of frozen berries

½ a cup of almond milk

3 tbsp rolled oats

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender
  • The consistency of the smoothie is down to personal preference, so add extra almond milk as you feel necessary 

The green smoothie

1 handful chopped pineapple 

1 chopped kiwi

300ml of coconut water

½ avocado

1 handful of spinach

½ tsp of coconut oil

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender
  • The consistency of the smoothie is down to personal preference, so add extra coconut water as you feel necessary 

The seeded smoothie

2 handfuls spinach

1 banana

¼ cup raspberry

¼ cup blueberry

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender
  • The consistency of the smoothie is down to personal preference, so add extra water as you feel necessary 

The orange smoothie

2 carrots – peeled and chopped

1 handful of mango pieces

1 kiwi – peeled and chopped

3 tbsp cashew nuts

1 tbsp flaxseed

1 cup water

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender
  • The consistency of the smoothie is down to personal preference, so add extra water as you feel necessary 

Raw chocolate brownie

Ingredients:

  • Handful of goji berries
  • 4 tbsp mixed milled seeds (e.g. flaxseed, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds)
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil 
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • Handful of chopped pitted Medjool dates
  • Handful of cacao nibs 

Method:

1. Line a shallow baking tin with baking parchment. 

2. Use a blender to blitz all of the dry ingredients together until you have a thick paste.

3. Add the coconut oil and blitz until the ingredients are well mixed. Add a little bit more coconut oil if you find the ingredients are not binding together. 

4. Scoop out the mixture into your lined baking tin and press down with the back of a spoon.

5. Sprinkle cacao nibs on top, gently pressing down so they stick to the mixture. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
