Calling all Lockdown Legends! We want YOU to Start Something. We are still supporting young people to ensure they continue to learn new skills, grow in confidence, and prepare for the future during this time. Get involved and Challenge Yourself to use this time at home to #GetCreative #GetSkilled or #GetActive.
What is Challenge Yourself?
A new Prince’s Trust challenge, which aims to promote learning and wellbeing, by inviting you to Challenge Yourself to get creative, to stay active or to learn new skills while at home.
#GetCreative 🖌️ - We have teamed up with Fearne Cotton's Happy Place to launch The Great Create, proudly supported by STAEDTLER, to boost wellbeing through getting creative. Sign up here for exclusive activity packs, step-by-step guides, and how-to videos that will support you in getting creative. We’ve also got tips for how to connect friends and family online if they can't be there in person.
#GetSkilled 🙌 - We are supporting young people to ensure they continue to learn new skills so why not use this time to take up a new hobby to develop your skills or to help you to switch off and relax, - whether it’s learning a new language, improving your cooking skills or hosting an online class to share your skills with others. Follow us for more ideas and inspiration.
#GetActive 💪- It's important to keep moving and active! So why not set yourself a new challenge you can take part in at home. Always wanted to learn how to dance? Why not join an online class or challenge yourself to start your mornings with yoga, there are so many ways to get active at home. See what others are doing here.
Whether you set yourself a 30-day challenge or enjoy a quick upskill – the possibilities are endless. We can all learn from each other. Join us on our Facebook Group – Challenge Yourself where we will be sharing ideas, tips and lots of exciting content on how you can Get Active, Skilled and Creative from home whilst following the Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.
If you are able to consider adding a fundraising component to your challenge, visit our JustGiving page to help raise funds that will give young people the skills and confidence they need to succeed now and in the future.
