The Arrol Trust

The Arrol Trust provides grants for people wishing to broaden their horizons through travel in the UK or overseas for gap years and educational trips. Application forms may be obtained from the correspondent and must be supported by a reference from the applicant's teacher or employer. International Service

International Service are running the International Citizen Service (ICS). The ICS volunteering scheme gives young people aged 18 to 25 the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of people in developing countries. It's also a unique way to develop life skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and decision-making.

Lattitude Global Volunteering

Lattitude offer international placements worldwide for 17- to 25-year-olds and have over 30 years of experience. Opportunities like this normally involve raising a lot of money to cover your costs but Lattitude are offering funded places so that young people without access to funds don’t miss out.

Experience life in another part of the world and gain valuable skills and experience while making a positive contribution to overseas communities. Projects range from  three to 12 months and you will be fully supported while overseas.

Raleigh International

Skillshare International

Skillshare International are looking for volunteers for the International Citizen Service. The programme aims to help reduce poverty overseas in Botswana, India, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland and Tanzania while giving young people the chance to develop skills such as team working and communications.
