Finance for your business

Not a fan of numbers? We know that business finance can be confusing. We’re here to answer your questions and make it simple for you.

Lenique Louis, Trust supported business

Business loans

When you join our free Enterprise programme, you’ll benefit from the skills, training and mentoring to make your business a success – along with the chance to apply for a low-interest loan.

We work with the Start Up Loans Company to offer low-interest business loans between £500 to £5,000 at a rate of 6.2% APR.

A Start Up Loan is a personal loan you borrow over 1-5 years at a fixed rate for business purposes. Start Up Loans lend applicants who are 18 years or older at the time of application. Individuals can receive one loan per business, however more than one partner in a business can apply for a Start Up Loan.
Please note that that a credit check will be carried out as part of your application.

Not only do we set a payment schedule that works for you, but if your situation changes our team are on hand to provide support.

Small start-up business grants are also available in special circumstances.

Budgeting

Understanding how much money your business will need to make each month is a core element on Enterprise. If you want to get a handle on what money’s coming in and what’s going out now, download our budget planner.

Tax

Registering as self-employed with HM Revenue and Customs is just one of the topics we cover on Enterprise. Get started by using this online tool.

Insurance

Insurance is important when you start your business and, in some cases, required by law. The insurance company you use should be registered by the Financial Conduct Authority. Their website will help you find one that suits you.

We have lots more business advice to share with you. Sign up to our Enterprise programme now.
