How the course works

Meet new people and gain retail skills such as customer service, stock control and window and shop displays.

We’ll also help you with your CV and interview skills.

Not only will it boost your confidence and employability skills, but you’ll also have the chance to benefit from support from one of our mentors to help you uncover your next steps.

For young people aged 16-30
4 weeks of supported work experience with employment opportunies at local stores
Participating stores; TK Maxx - Central Cardiff, TK Maxx – Valegate (Culverhouse Cross), TK Maxx - Cardiff Newport Rd, Homesense - Cardiff Llanishen, TK Maxx - Newport and TK Maxx & Homesense - Merthyr Tydfil
Weekly employability & personal development workshops with Prince’s Trust and TK Maxx
No previous experience necessary
Taster day and workshops will be held at Cardiff & Vale College, Dumballs Rd & TK Maxx Cardiff, The Hayes
Travel expenses and lunch provided
