How the course works

Meet new people and gain a wide range of experiences within M&S stores as well as support from M&S staff to help you to potentially secure a job in retail.

We’ll also help you with your CV and interview skills.

Not only will it boost your confidence and employability skills, but you'll also have the chance to benefit from support from one of our mentors to help you uncover your next steps.

This FREE 4 week work experience placement will commence on 11th July and finishes with a celebration event on 4th August! As part of this placement you will be learning all of the skills you need to become a successful member of the M&S team.

You will learn skills such as:

Customer service skills
Stock Rotation
Honeywell system usage
M&S standards and shop displays

The Prince's Trust will be supporting you every step of the way throughout this journey, including an employability day to help boost your employability and job finding skills!

At the end of placement if you are successful there is the opportunity for a full 12 week 16hr contract within your M&S store.
