Vistaprint is passionate in helping small businesses across the UK with their business needs. Since 2017, they have been a proud Patron of The Prince's Trust and continue to support young people we work with, donating to our Young People Relief Fund.

As a supporter of our Enterprise programme in West London for 3 years, Vistaprint has helped dozens of young people explore entrepreneurship and what it means to start a business.

Our Enterprise programme offers free training and mentoring support as well as guidance and even funding to test out business ideas. Many of the young people who have attended Vistaprint supported programmes have gone on to start their own businesses.

One said of The Prince’s Trust programme it is “A place to go to put your dreams in action”.

Participants on these programmes have all found the insight and support from Vistaprint’s volunteers incredibly useful and were keen to make connections after the course had finished. They couldn’t believe that they were given vouchers to support their business as well as the confidence they gained from pitching their ideas to this expert audience.

One of these young people, Cilrette, wants to run her own business to bring financial stability to her family. Her company has been created to empower and provide representation to the market for black and brown girls.

She says, “The ethos behind Nubian Reines  is what motivates me, it’s what keeps me going. Nubian Reines is for the many young girls who (unlike me) can now feel that they have a place on the shelves, screens, books and in retail.”

Her business has launched a range of backpacks with strong African Queens as characters across the range, with more products to come.

More importantly, she says, “Owning my own business will mean I get to have more quality time with my son.”

Through their support of Enterprise as a Patron partner, Vistaprint have supported many young people like Cilrette.

Now in 2020, Vistaprint know exactly how hard the Coronavirus pandemic has hurt small enterprises and as such pivoted quickly to produce materials to support their customers including shields, face masks and signage. This is supporting small, local businesses reopen in a safe way.

What’s more, 6% of the proceeds from their integrated filter face mask is being donated to The Prince’s Trust Young Person Relief Fund, providing vital funds for our support of young people across the UK at a time when they need it most.
