This group is made up of 11 optimistic and keen volunteers from all sorts of background, including lawyers, dentists, staff of Scottish Government and entrepreneurs. Together, they use their expertise from their personal and professional lives to help shape the programme delivery into something that will deliver the maximum impact for the young people participating.

Mosaic is a programme that works with young people in a school environment, which has obviously been heavily disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak. However, this team of volunteers have been working hard with The Trust and partner schools to ensure that this programme can still be delivered, accrediting it with new remote learning options and teacher-led resources.

Looking further ahead, this team of volunteers are also planning for the future and using their contacts and community connections to ensure that Mosaic in Scotland returns to the school environment in an engaging and positive way in the next academic year.

Lesley Shepperson, head of the Education Sub Committee in this group says:

I believe that every young person should have the opportunity to thrive and realise their best self and truest potential. Being a part of this important initiative enables us as a team to invest in the youth of today and the potential leaders of tomorrow.
