In 2021, our two iconic universes united to form a three-year partnership. Supporting young people break into the world of fashion and product design and start a career in the creative industry. Empowering young people, to harness the power of creativity – creating products and sharing stories which inspire others to celebrate diversity.

Through the Get Started in Product Design with Marvel programme, we brought together young people with a diverse range of skillsets and backgrounds to harness their creativity and build their confidence and self-belief. Young people took part in a series of over 30 different workshops, hosted by Disney designers, marketeers and retail teams, culminating in the aspiring designers creating two Marvel-inspired product ranges.

The first range spotlights Marvel The Avengers, featuring products with design influences from American street culture and sports celebrating the diversity of the Marvel Universe. 

The second collection, which launches later this year, celebrates incredible female Super Heroes across the Marvel universe, such as Wanda Maximoff, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Shuri, Ms Marvel and Okoye. 

Additionally, the programme gave young people invaluable six-month mentorship from industry experts at Disney and work opportunities, and many of the group have now begun exciting careers in the industry.

Now less than a year on, the very first collection – The Avengers-inspired range created by young people, which is inspired by the teamwork of Marvel's Super Heroes and represents inclusivity, is on sale across Europe – online and in-store. Visit our campaign hub to discover more.

Later this year, The Prince’s Trust and Marvel will celebrate even more real-life Super Heroes within our community through Marvel's Rising Star category sponsorship in The Prince's Trust Awards. Together, we will celebrate young people who have found their own power with The Prince’s Trust recognising those who have faced adversity with courage and determination and marking our one-year partnership anniversary.
