Mappin & Webb
Luxury retailer Mappin & Webb have been fantastic supporters of The Prince’s Trust for the past three years.
Now in the third year of their partnership, Mappin & Webb have been busy offering life-changing experiences to young entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses.
Mappin & Webb first partnered with The Prince's Trust in 2013 and have been sponsoring the Young Ambassador of the Year award since then. Having realised their own potential, the Young Ambassadors are now committed to helping others do the same, and Mappin & Webb are delighted to acknowledge their passion and strength of character.
In addition to their award sponsorship, Mappin & Webb generously design and manufacture all 22 Silver Apprentice Bowls that are given to the winners and finalists - a special product that all silversmith apprentices are able to produce after their training. Beyond this, Mappin & Webb have hosted a number of special Enterprise workshops which offer a life-changing experience for a group of young entrepreneurs.
Most recently, Mappin & Webb invited 10 young people to an Enterprise Day, hosting talks and workshops led by a number of key staff members from different areas of the business. The group were then given the exciting opportunity to visit Mappin & Webb’s flagship Regent Street store as well as their Hatton Garden Jewellery Workshop. In addition to this, Young Ambassadors Tanguy Viaud and Lenique Louis inspired the group with details of the support they've received through the Enterprise programme.
In January 2017, teams at Mappin & Webb have been putting their best foot forward to change young lives by taking part in The Trust’s Future Steps challenge.
