Feeling she had ‘had enough of everything’ Jagoda wanted any possible form of support, not only to help with her mental wellbeing but to help her get a job that she was passionate about.

Reaching out to The Prince’s Trust, Jagoda was able to access regular therapy sessions with a Trust volunteer which improved her mental health.

She was also able to get advice about her Polish qualifications as she was finding it hard to convert them into the British system, which was proving a barrier to her accessing further education.

With this support, she was able to apply for a Fast Track to Finance course at Edinburgh college, passing an English exam and securing an unconditional offer.

I wouldn’t have been able to get into college without the support from the Trust. This achievement has really improved my confidence and I’m so happy to be finally given an opportunity. Now, I’m looking forward to the future. I’ll continue to work with my Prince’s Trust keyworker and together we’re thinking of ways that I can balance my studies with work. I am keen to become a party planner one day and so I’m starting to look into how I can achieve this.
