Over the past 10 years, we have been working in partnership with Gap to support over 700 young people to build the self-belief and skills to succeed.
Every day, Gap go above and beyond to transform the lives of young people. Across the UK, Gap have been opening their doors to young people, empowering them with the confidence, experience and support to start their career at Gap and in the retail industry.
Not only do they support young people to develop skills in visual merchandising, customer service, retail, warehousing and head office roles, Gap staff have also put their energy into raising money and getting active as well as contributing their time to volunteer.
Over the past year, Gap have driven several inspiring campaigns so that we can reach more young people and raise vital funds! These include the creation of the first ever Gap in-store radio session with Kiss and a capsule collection of t-shirts created in collaboration with young people for World Mental Health Day.
We are so excited about the future of our partnership and have huge ambitions to reach even more young people by together raising £1milllion.
One way that Gap are already achieving this is by sponsoring our 2020 Future Steps challenge. By joining forces, we’ve been inspiring Gap customers to start something great in the new year. Together we've created a shiny new app for individuals to take on Future Steps, and Team Gap are going for a record-breaking attempt at the challenge too!
We’ve been busy meeting some of the young people that have benefitted from the support of our partnership, who have taken the time to share with everyone just what a difference donations can make in ensuring that they have access to our support.
