Delta has shown commitment in a variety of ways, including sponsoring the Rising Star Award at our Prince’s Trust Awards. The award recognises young people who, despite having faced substantial personal obstacles, are in sustainable employment as a result of one of The Prince’s Trust’s life-changing programmes. This year’s winner was Charleigh Morritt. Charleigh used to find it difficult to perform day-to-day tasks due to severe anxiety. But now she studies Law at University.

We’re also delighted to have Delta’s incredible support as our headline sponsor of Palace to Palace for the third year. In 2020 Delta will be supporting Achieve, our education programme which helps young people in school to gain skills and make a difference through taking part in a community project.

Beyond this, Delta has opened up all the opportunities a career in industries such as aviation and engineering could involve, with unique experience days with the airline’s teams at Heathrow and Edinburgh to teach young people about the exciting careers they can pursue in aviation.

A huge thank you to everyone at Delta Air Lines. We’ve been blown away by your continuous support over the past six years, going above and beyond to take our partnership to the next level and drive new projects to change thousands of young lives. We’re thrilled that Delta Air Lines are headline supporters of Palace to Palace 2020 and for your support of the Rising Star Award at our Prince’s Trust Awards.

Jonathan Townsend, Interim Prince’s Trust CEO

We are incredibly proud of our partnership with The Prince’s Trust and to be supporting a number of fantastic projects including The Prince’s Trust Awards and Palace to Palace. I am continually inspired by the courage and determination of the young people I meet and the work of The Trust.
