The ASOS Foundation has opened its doors to over 318 people delivering action-packed courses to build confidence and  skills in tech, retail, fashion, customer care and lots more.

From writing code, creating blogs and working on app development projects through to Tech themed programmes to learning about a product’s life-cycle and building experience in buying, merchandising and brand through Fashion courses. All this, plus developing customer service skills and taking part in employability workshops through programmes delivered in the ASOS Customer Care Hub; ASOS volunteers have continued to deliver the most high-energy, interactive quality programmes.

Omar who completed our Get Started with Fashion course said:

Get Started with Fashion at ASOS was fantastic, I loved being able to meet professionals who have so much insight and experience.

We are thrilled that 14 young people have moved into jobs working at ASOS and are continuing to thrive in their roles.

On top of this, others have been supported with the right equipment including computer software, course fees and qualifications to move into work through ASOS-funded Development Awards.

The ASOS Foundation have also helped us to inspire thousands more young people by creating our fantastic ASOS in STEM video content. These creative videos have been a huge success, being viewed over 46,813 times already. We are thrilled that this year the ASOS Foundation is helping us reach even more young people by working together on the digital activation of Prince’s Trust Online.

This year marks a special milestone as the ASOS Foundation has reached a fantastic £1million fundraising milestone.

David Ivell, Chief Information Officer, The Prince’s Trust said:

A huge thank you to everyone at the ASOS Foundation, our partnership is truly one of a kind. The talented ASOS Foundation team has led the way developing STEM and fashion programmes and content of the highest quality to inspire young people. Beyond this, the passion and encouragement ASOS volunteers show to every young person who comes through ASOS doors always shines through.

Louise McCabe, Director, ASOS Foundation added:

The ASOS Foundation aims to make a positive difference to people’s lives. We want to help them overcome barriers they face in fulfilling their dreams and their potential. Through our partnership with The Prince’s Trust we’ve been lucky enough to be able to work with some amazing participants on the ‘Get Started’ and ‘Get Into’ courses and it has been a real pleasure for our teams at ASOS to support them in developing confidence and workplace skills.
