Homesense have been supporting the Trust, and this award for three years. HSBC UK’s support has enabled thousands of young people to develop the skills and confidence to break down barriers and thrive. HSBC UK has been a key enabler in scaling nation-wide delivery of our programmes, has provided employment opportunities and supported vital research. 2018 marked an exciting year with the announcement of the Future Skills partnership with HSBC UK. Future Skills is developing the employability skills of young people, helping them to realise their potential and secure employment. NatWest proudly sponsor our Enterprise award across all nine regions. For the last 18 years, NatWest has been working side-by-side in partnership with The Trust, flying the flag for youth innovation and enabling tens of thousands of young people to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. Contributing to such a life-changing scheme is an important part of NatWest’s commitment to supporting enterprise amongst a diverse range of people for whom it might otherwise seem a distant dream. As a Platinum Patron of The Trust and a committed supporter for over a decade, Dell EMC are delighted to be supporting at this year’s Prince’s Trust Awards. Dell EMC support The Trust in many ways - including raising over £1 million through the Million Makers Competition. Delta Air Lines proudly sponsor our Rising Star award in London and the South East and the South West. As well as this, Delta has shown tremendous support for young entrepreneurs and helping young people set up in business through supporting our Prince’s Trust Tomorrow’s Store, which is stocked with original gifts, jewellery, clothing, art and homeware created by innovative young entrepreneurs we’ve helped to set up in business. Mappin & Webb are luxury jewellers and silversmiths, and proud holders of Royal Warrants and have been Prince’s Trust Patrons since 2013. NHS Scotland proudly sponsor our Young Ambassador of the Year Award in Scotland. This is in recognition of their joint commitment to developing the young workforce, and to promoting the achievements of young people the length and breadth of Scotland. Through our work with the Prince’s Trust, NHS Scotland has increased opportunities for school leavers and those not currently in training or employment, to access NHS careers. As we continue to build on our partnership with the Trust we are consolidating work on innovative Get into Healthcare programmes, that will provide even more young people with the chance to build their careers with NHS Scotland.
Arnold Clark proudly sponsor our Rising Star Award in Scotland. Arnold Clark was founded in 1954 as a single-showroom venture in Glasgow’s West End. Since then, it has grown to become Europe’s largest independently owned car retailer. The business sells around 300,000 cars per year and generates an annual turnover of £3.9 billion. Arnold Clark has been working with The Prince’s Trust since 2008. The Prince’s Trust was a charity close to Sir Arnold Clark’s heart, and he was a passionate advocate of giving young people opportunities to realise their potential. The company's bus services provide vital connections for communities across the country and Stagecoach takes seriously its responsibilities to be a good member of the communities in which it operates. Stagecoach is proud of its long-standing relationship with the Prince’s Trust which has involved working with the Trust to recruit engineering apprentices, offering a career path for disadvantaged young people. The North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is a public, private and education sector partnership, responsible for promoting and developing economic growth across the North East.
