The Prince’s Trust Group includes the work of The Prince's Trust in the UK alongside a new network comprising activity carried out by Prince's Trust International, The Prince's Charities Canada, Prince’s Trust Australia and, in due course, Prince’s Trust New Zealand. 

All of the charities within The Prince’s Trust Group were established by HRH The Prince of Wales. Together, they are providing meaningful support for young people, military veterans, indigenous groups and environmental projects.

Dame Martina Milburn DCVO CBE

Group Chief Executive 

Martina Milburn

Dame Martina joined The Prince’s Trust in May 2004, having been Chief Executive of the BBC Children in Need Appeal since 2000.

Martina trained and began her career as a journalist, established the Press and Communications function for the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development (CAFOD) and worked on a freelance basis for a range of national media. She then held the post of Chief Executive of the Association of Spinal Injury Research, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (ASPIRE).

Dame Martina has been a trustee of several charities and currently sits on the boards of the National Citizen Service and Capital City College Group. She also Co-Chairs the Youth Action Group with a Minister from the Department for Education. The group includes voluntary sector organisations and nine government departments. She sits on several other bodies which support the work of HRH The Prince of Wales. Dame Martina received a CBE for services to charity in 2013. In 2017 New Year Honours list she received the honour of Dame Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (DCVO).

Simon Major 

Group General Counsel 

Simon Major

Simon joined The Trust in February 2017 and assists Dame Martina Milburn with the governance of The Prince’s Trust Group, he also leads the Legal, Governance, Risk and Internal Audit functions of The Prince’s Trust.

Simon is Company Secretary of The Prince’s Trust, Prince’s Trust International and Prince’s Trust Trading Limited.

Previously Simon was General Counsel & Company Secretary at WWF and prior to that Deputy General Counsel at Save the Children.

Simon started his legal career specialising in international finance law with a particular focus on infrastructure projects in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.

He has a MA in International Peace and Security and the role of the UN Security Council.
