The Prince’s Trust has over 1,100 staff and around 9000 volunteers and secondees. Together, last year, they supported over 56,000 young people across the UK. Here you can find out about the people that make The Prince’s Trust.
For nearly 40 years, The Prince of Wales has been a leader in identifying charitable need and setting up and driving forward charities to meet it. From the early days of The Prince's Trust in the mid-1970s, his charitable interests have grown to represent a broad range of areas including, the Built Environment, the Arts, Responsible Business and Enterprise, Young People, Global Sustainability and Rural Affairs.
His Royal Highness's 15 'Prince's Charities' work to transform lives and build sustainable communities. The Prince of Wales carries out dozens of engagements every year in support of his charities, which together raise more than £100million annually to fund their activities. The Prince has also established charitable foundations in Australia, Canada and the United States of America. To find out more, visit: www.princeofwales.gov.uk
The Prince's Trust Council
The governing body of The Trust is The Prince’s Trust Council. Its members are trustees and are responsible in law for the work of The Trust. The Council sets the strategy for The Trust, agrees its budget and delegates the day to day running of the organisation to the Chief Executive and the Senior Management Team.
In addition there are councils who are responsible for The Trust in:
Senior Management Team
The Senior Management Team is responsible for the leadership, strategy and priorities of the organisation, for the delivery of the business plan and budget, and for the overall day to day running of The Trust.
Around 90% of our people are volunteers and secondees; we simply couldn’t achieve what we do without their dedication and commitment. Find out more about becoming a volunteer and the range of roles available here.
There's lots of ways we involve our young people in the work that we do. Find out more here.
