This Hate Crime Awareness Week Prince’s Trust Scotland is pleased to announce that all of our Scottish delivery centre’s will become third party reporting sites by the 1st of December this year.

Our Wolfson Centre in Glasgow is now signed up as a Third Party Reporting Centre, providing an important service to anyone who has experienced or been a victim of hate crime. Hate crime is any crime motivated by prejudice based on: race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, and transgender identity.

We feel it is important to stand up to hate crime as everyone deserves the right to feel safe and part of society, without prejudice or discrimination. We need to lead by example and set a precedent – if one person reports a hate crime others could follow.

By 1st of December this year all of our centres in Scotland will be providing this service, with Edinburgh and Dundee centre’s coming next.

Hate Crime is wrong, it is against the law, and everyone has the right to live safely and without fear. No two individuals are ever the same – respect difference, and help us put an end to hate crime by encouraging people to report it.
