Ambassadors, celebrities and city influencers joined forces for The Prince’s Trust annual Invest in Futures gala dinner last night (5th February 2015), raising money for vulnerable young people.

With The Savoy providing the stunning backdrop to the evening, HRH The Prince of Wales joined guests to pay tribute to those raising funds, which last night totalled £1,500,000.

Hosted by Sir Ben Kingsley and Samantha Bond, the 10th annual dinner saw hedge fund leaders and financiers dine alongside our supporters including Jerry Hall, Philip Schofield, Tess Daly, Rob Brydon and Gillian Anderson. Entertainment was provided by the astounding Dynamo, with music from Jools Holland, who performed live with Ronnie Wood and Melanie C.

Since 2005, the Invest in Futures dinner and auction has raised more than £17.5million, giving tens of thousands of disadvantaged young people the skills and confidence they need to move into work or training.

Last night’s event has raised vital funds for our work at a time when hundreds of thousands of young people are struggling to find a job.

Tara Leathers, Director of Fundraising at The Prince’s Trust, said:

The money raised at last night's event will make a huge difference to the work of The Prince's Trust and give thousands of vulnerable young people the chance of a better future. We are extremely grateful to the financial community for their continued support.
