On the 9th October for 24 hours, 5p of every purchase on eBay.co.uk was donated to The Prince’s Trust. This raised an incredible £105,000! A big thank you to eBay and to all of the shoppers who supported us!

eBay for Charity's first ever Give Day kick started a 12-month campaign to raise funds for The Trust’s Enterprise Programme.

“We are delighted to partner with The Prince’s Trust to help young entrepreneurs gain access to vital tools and funding to kick start their own businesses. The next generation are the future of our economy, and with over 200,000 small businesses already trading on eBay – we want to grow this number by focusing on empowering 18-30 year olds in need of help and support, to start and run businesses in the way they want to.”

- Rob Hattrell, Vice President of eBay UK

In a bid to help grow the existing businesses The Prince’s Trust supports through its Tomorrow’s Store, eBay for Charity have also onboarded select businesses to eBay.co.uk. For every item bought from the young entrepreneurs from October through to December, £5 will be directly donated to The Prince’s Trust.
