It was announced today that Sir Lloyd Dorfman CBE will continue as Chair of Prince’s Trust International for a further term, while John Booth will become Chair of The Prince’s Trust from 1st August.

Sir Lloyd has been a Trustee of The Prince’s Trust since 2007, during which time the charity has supported 365,000 young people across the UK. Prince’s Trust International was launched in 2015, with the aim of supporting young people around the world to move into jobs, education and training

Sir Lloyd said:

My focus will now be on growing The Prince’s Trust Group’s international activities at this important time in their development. I hope that my experience of creating and building a global business - Travelex - will help us realise our ambitions.

John Booth is a businessman and philanthropist who has supported The Prince’s Trust as a Platinum Patron and Enterprise Fellow for five years.

John Booth said:

Having seen first-hand the life changing work of The Prince’s Trust, I am really pleased to take on the role of Chair. The Trust has a bold new strategy, to reach a million more young people in the next ten years. It will be a real privilege to offer my support in achieving this ambitious goal.
