Who we are
The Technology Leadership Group (TLG) is the de facto corporate
social responsibility initiative for companies and individuals from
the UK technology, media and telecoms industries. The group is
dedicated to raising funds, support and awareness to reduce the
numbers of young people facing long term unemployment. £7.5m has
been raised by members of the group since 2002 with hundreds of
employees taking part on fundraising challenges and working
directly with young people on voluntary programmes.
The TLG is also the best high level networking forum in the TMT
sector with lunches, receptions and dinners attracting
decision-makers from leading companies.
Under our new Chairman, Mr Adam Hale we are aiming to raise
£10million by 2010 to ensure we help The Prince's Trust meet the
extra demand from young people during these difficult economic
times.
Our members
Companies as diverse as Microsoft, Canon and Accenture are
members of the TLG. The group is made up of the top TMT companies
and philanthropists in the UK.
- Four of the top ten graduate employers in the UK are
members.
- Thirteen of the top twenty software and IT services companies
are members.
- Six of the top ten Sunday Times 'Best companies to work for'
are members.
The TLG is led by a committee of industry professionals who believe
passionately in young people. The committee is chaired by Adam
Hale, Managing Director of European Technology at Russell Reynolds
Assosciates.
Why join?
Companies join the Technology Leadership Group because they
share our passion for making a difference to young people that want
to reach their potential. And by supporting our work, we can offer
opportunities for staff to volunteer or fundraise and complimentary
access to events featuring leading industry speakers.
