The Prince's Trust Insurance Leadership Group
(ILG) is a unique networking forum for leaders of insurance
companies, brokers and underwriters in the UK.
The ILG has been formed with the support of leading figures
within the industry to provide an innovative way for supporters
from the insurance sector to fulfil their corporate social
responsibility objectives while enjoying significant networking
benefits with government, industry peers and potential
customers.
Members of the ILG have pledged £3.7 million to help The
Prince's Trust deliver projects that help disadvantaged young
people to gain skills and get their lives working.
The ILG also has plans to use the leverage of its members to
influence how the insurance sector relates to young unemployed
people and ex-offenders.
ILG Mission Statement
The Prince’s Trust Insurance Leadership Group (ILG) helps ensure
disadvantaged young people’s futures through enterprise, donations
and policies that benefit community, business and industry:
- Community: By driving social change and giving vulnerable young
people access to insurance, jobs and practical mentoring
support
- Business: By fulfiling corporate social responsibilities,
employee development, innovative corporate hospitality and
networking
- Industry: By raising the industry’s profile, giving back and
attracting talent.
I'm determined to grow the membership of the
ILG and work closely with other industry sectors to make a real
impact, helping more young people into work.
