The Yorkshire Leadership Group is a group of like-minded entrepreneurs, organisations and leaders who are keen to help create the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

At the age of 17, Veronica found herself homeless. She managed to complete her college course, but it wasn't until she recived support from The Prince's Trust that she was able to launch her own business.Primarily an investment group, The Yorkshire Leadership Group focuses on developing opportunities and supporting disadvantaged young people in the Yorkshire and Humber region who are beginning their journey into self employment.

The key objective of the group is to help change young lives. Since launching in April 2010, over £200,000 has been raised which has been used to support our Enterprise programme across the region.

At The Trust, our aim is to continue supporting more young people every year. In 2012/2013 we once again achieved this goal by helping 4,873 young people break down the ever-increasing barriers they face. 685 of those young people in Yorkshire and the Humber were helped through our Enterprise programme.

Without the support of our valued Yorkshire Leadership Group members we would not be able to achieve this. On behalf of all of our young people, staff and volunteers, can we once again thank you for helping The Prince’s Trust deliver excellent results.

Tom grew up in a deprived part of Rotherham, and had lost all hope of finding work before receiving support from The Prince's Trust. The Trust enabled him to set up his own shop, which is now going from strength to strength. Are you determined to make a difference?
