The Yorkshire Leadership Group is a group of like-minded entrepreneurs, organisations and leaders who are keen to help create the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

At the age of 17, Veronica found herself homeless. She managed to complete her college course, but it wasn't until she recived support from The Prince's Trust that she was able to launch her own business.Primarily an investment group, The Yorkshire Leadership Group focuses on developing opportunities and supporting disadvantaged young people in the Yorkshire & Humber region who are beginning their journey into self employment.

The key objective of the group is to help change young lives. Since launching in April 2010, £140,000 has been raised which has been used to support our Enterprise programme across the region.

Tom grew up in a deprived part of Rotherham, and had lost all hope of finding work before receiving support from The Prince's Trust. The Trust enabled him to set up his own shop, which is now going from strength to strength. At The Trust, our aim is to continue supporting more young people every year. This year in Yorkshire and The Humber we aim to support over 5,000 young people for the first time ever, 600 of those through our Enterprise programme. Without the support of our valued Yorkshire Leadership Group members we would not be able to achieve this.

On behalf of 4,832 young people, 45 staff and almost 400 volunteers, can we once again thank you for helping The Prince’s Trust deliver excellent results.

Are you determined to make a difference?
