Women's Leadership Group: Making a difference

The Prince's Trust Women's Leadership Group is an innovative fundraising initiative with a dedicated committee of leading, influential women. Our members make a financial contribution to The Trust and commit to raising funds to help young women get their lives back on track.

Of the 50,000 young people The Trust helps each year, only 16,000 will be young women. And the majority of our donors are male. Our mission is to involve more women in our work and to motivate our female supporters to help us help more disadvantaged young women than ever before.

WLG achievements to date:

  • £3.2 million raised in pledged funds;
  • 46 dedicated members
  • 4 challenge events to exotic locations, raising a total of £386,675
  • 6 Prince's Trust projects have been developed and delivered and all core programmes supported
  • Many volunteering opportunities taken up by members.
