Chris takes on Lands End to John O’ Groats
Chris Sands from Staffordshire is taking on
the challenge of cycling from Lands End to John O’ Groats in
support of The Trust.
Chris explains: “I want to find out how hard I can push myself
in order to achieve my goals. I like to set myself a challenge and
work hard to achieve it.
"I'm planning to fundraise by getting in touch with friends,
family and work colleagues. Everybody knows everybody so hopefully
they will pass the message on.
"I think my biggest challenge is the fact that I will be taking
on the challenge as a solo rider; carrying all my kit with me as I
go. And keeping my spirits high while tackling the Scottish hills
will be a challenge in itself!”
I chose the Prince's Trust because I realise
how tough it is for many young people to achieve their goals when
they don’t have the building blocks to start with.
