Palace to Palace 2009
This
year's bike ride will take place on Sunday 27th September.
3,000 cyclists will ride 45 miles in aid of The
Trust. Their route will take them from Buckingham Palace to Windsor
Castle.

Places sold out very quickly last year and we don't want you to
miss out, so here are some tips for faster registration:
Are you going to be doing it alone or with other people?
If you're participating with friends and family, please register
as a team as this will guarantee that you all have the same start
time on the day. If you are registering more than one person please
ensure that you accept and pass on the legal terms and conditions,
as every participant needs to have read these.
Do you have your next of kin details to hand?
You'll need to tell us who to contact in case of an emergency -
this is a compulsory field on the registration form so make sure
you have the details when registering.
Do you have a credit/debit card to hand?
As the registration fee is £30, you'll need a card to
register.

Everybody was friendly. The marshals were
brilliant.

The highlight for me was being able to cycle up
the mall at Buckingham Palace without any traffic. I felt like a
royal! And then ending the ride cycling up towards Windsor Castle
was very special too. And having a water stop every 10
miles!

Hard to pick one thing... the camaraderie
between fellow bikers was fab and the sense of achievement (my
first sponsored ride), but it was fantastically organised
especially the spacing of the water stops... just right... and the
smiley marshals. Fabulous.
