How to leave a legacy: quick guide
If you have not yet made a
will
If you do not have a will at the moment, we advise that you
consult a solicitor for sound professional advice. Our document
Practical
guidance for leaving a legacy will help you to create a section
that will ensure that a legacy is left to The Prince’s Trust.
If you have already made a will
If you have already made a will, but would like to leave a gift
to The Prince’s Trust, you can do so by making a simple addition to
your existing will called a codicil. By adding this supplement to
your will you can include new instructions and delete old ones
without having to create a new will.
For further guidance, download our document Adding a codicil to your
will.
If you have already pledged to make a gift in your will, we’d
like to thank you for your pledge and keep you up to date with the
work of The Trust.
