Everyone knows that if you want to get
anywhere in life, you need to work hard. But if you’re an
unemployed young person in the UK, even getting the opportunity to
start work can seem impossible.
Youth unemployment currently stands at around 20 per cent
This means that around one million young people aren’t in
training, education or employment. But most of them desperately
want to work, if they get the chance. All they want is to start
their career and work towards their future. However, the sad fact
is that there are many obstacles in their way.
We're not afraid of hard work.
Last year we supported more than 54,000 16 to 24 year olds to
get into training, education and employment. No one ever said it
was going to be easy, but it would be even harder without the
support of our donors. More young people are turning to us for
support than ever before. So, now, more than ever, we need your
help.
We’re helping young people work hard for their future - but we
need your donations in order to continue with our vital support
services, training courses and development opportunities.
Hard work pays.
It’s hard to put into words just how much these opportunities
are worth to the young people we help. To give you an idea, here is
what we can achieve with your support. Whatever you can give will
be hugely appreciated.
