On-board fundraising
Cunard has literally taken the mission of The Trust on board,
involving their guests in fundraising initiatives including foreign
coin collections, quiz nights and an auction of each voyage’s
navigational map.

Voyages on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria raising with this
initiative over £50,000 for The Trust.

Local Impact
Cunard has also been making waves in Southampton by helping to
change young lives in their community. Cunard hosted a two-week
work placement for a young person taking part in the Team programme
- The Trust's 12-week personal development course for unemployed
young people. Staff provided support and motivation every step of
the way.
Cunard also helped young people on The Trust’s Get Into Business
programme, which equips participants for self-employment. Cunard’s
Head of Marketing took time out to evaluate and develop business
plans through a Dragons' Den style activity which was thoroughly
enjoyed by all the young people on the programme.
