DLA Piper and The Prince's Trust celebrate 15 years in
partnership
DLA Piper are one of The Trust’s longest
standing corporate supporters and this year we are celebrating 15
years in partnership.
DLA Piper's partnership with The Prince's Trust began in
Manchester in 1997. The partnership has expanded across the firm's
UK offices and DLA Piper is proud to be a Patron of The Prince's
Trust.
Achievements so far include:
- The Princes Trust Legal Helpline: DLA Piper support the
Legal Helpline to enable young entrepreneurs to deal with any legal
issues they are facing. Since it began in 2010, 136 DLA Piper
volunteers gave a fantastic 1,425 hours of pro bono support to 210
entrepreneurs.
- Get Into Construction: In 2006 DLA Piper were crucial in
helping The Trust develop one of our most successful programmes:
Get into Construction. The programme is designed to deliver skills
and employment opportunities in the construction sector for
disadvantaged young people. DLA Piper continue to play a crucial
role in The Trust’s Construction and Business Services Leadership
Group.
DLA Piper remain a true champion of The Prince’s Trust and we’re
looking forward to working with them to help young people across
the UK for many years to come.
