Prince's Trust Team
Pembrokeshire Adventure Centre is one of the
largest multi-functional activity centres in the UK
Offering a huge range of activities to young
people, with specialist support for visiting Trust Teams, the
centre holds one of the largest Trust staff teams in the UK,
delivering a wide range of programmes tailored to your specific
requirements.
The new Centre at Cleddau Reach, Pembroke Dock is a truly
fantastic venue – a £2.5m accommodation and activity centre with
around £500k of equipment and up to 30 specialist qualified
instructors working at peak periods.
We are open throughout the year and busy from mid-January
through to mid-November with a wide range of activity programmes
from Trust Team residentials, through prisoners on rehabilitation
courses, schools, homeless foyers, training agencies, xl clubs to
certificated courses for people wishing to qualify as
instructors.
With over 20 years of experience we understand exactly what you
need to make the most of your time away and will always be
sensitive to the specific needs of your group.
The centre provides specialist courses for children excluded
from school and to those following alternative curricula; to
homeless young people and to those leaving care or referred to
their local YOT.
The support and depth of knowledge delivered during The Trust
Team residentials is recognised through the centre’s own Team
programme which has gained the highest levels of achievement
possible with Grade 1 Estyn (Welsh Ofsted) inspection reports for
student support and attainment, and overall Grade 2 standards.
Our specialist educational staff have already scoped the new
Trust City and Guilds “Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills”
qualification and are training outdoor staff to deliver parts of
the residential week in a manner which maximises the Team Leaders’
opportunities to collect appropriate evidence to meet the specific
criteria of the new qualification.
We can accommodate up to six teams each week and around 60 Trust
teams currently visit Pembrokeshire each year. Call us on 01646

The clever bit: when you book your Team residential week with
us, your money gets recycled straight back into The Prince’s Trust,
and helps keep the ball rolling.
In addition we can of course offer all the activities to youth
groups, YOT teams, Foyers, prisons,YOIs, etc – in fact anyone who
works with young people. We support Corporate training and we are
proud of the excellent evaluations from those who use us
regularly.
