Safety and credentials
At the Pembrokeshire Adventure Centre we take
the safety and care of our clients very seriously.
The centre is inspected and tested annually by both the
Adventure Activity Licensing Authority (AALA) and the Royal
Yachting Association (RYA).
We have been recognised as an RYA Training Establishment and
have also been awarded the status of Centre of Excellence for
regional training by the Welsh Yachting Association (WYA).
We stringently follow all of the National Governing Body
guidelines with regards to best practises, staff ratios, up to date
operating procedures, risk assessments and emergency plans.
We also run regular staff induction, training and update days
during the year.
All of our specialist equipment at the centre is maintained to a
very high standard and is appropriately tested and approved, all of
our safety equipment complies with BSI and EC specifications.
