The Jason Kanabus Fund in Wales
Interested in farming, but need skills,
training, or support? We might be able to
help.
Jason Kanabus was a young farmer from Sussex
who cared deeply about the countryside and the country way of life.
When Jason was told he was terminally ill with cancer, he decided
his legacy should benefit those in communities similar to his
own.
Jason’s legacy is a considerable one. Grandson of the late
Sir Robert Sainsbury, he inherited £2.5 million on
his 30th birthday shortly before he died. Jason bequeathed this
entire estate to The Prince’s Trust, enabling us to set up The
Jason Kanabus Fund.
The Jason Kanabus Fund helps give young people interested in
farming two routes into the industry.
