Adding further sparkle to the evening was be a Topshop dress worn - and co-designed - by Kate Moss. The dress, adorned with 60,000 Swarovski crystal beads of silver, dove grey and antique green, is in a classic Flapper cocktail dress style and covered with looping tassels that shimmer as the dress moves.

Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust 2007

Fashion Rocks, hosted by Big Time Productions in conjunction with The Prince's Trust, returns to the Royal Albert Hall in London on 18th October 2007.

Academy award nominee Uma Thurman will co-host Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust 2007. Uma will join Samuel L. Jackson in hosting the spectacular live fashion and music event.

Following massive success in London in 2003, and Monaco in 2005, this year’s event promises to be more outstanding than ever. The line-up will feature shows by international designers, accompanied by performances from the world’s top music artists: multi-Grammy award winning R&B singer Alicia Keys; NME’s ‘coolest person in rock’ Beth Ditto, singing with The Gossip; multi-platinum sultry soul-singer Joss Stone; London’s favourite Lily Allen; 80’s new romantic legend Marc Almond; twice BRIT nominated Razorlight, fronted by fashion trendsetter Johnny Borrell; award-winning super producer and artist Timbaland; and many more to be announced.

Confirmed designers include Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Dolce & Gabbana, Marchesa, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent.

Elizabeth Saltzman, Chairperson of Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust, says “After 20 years' friendship and watching her immaculate style and fashion in both her private and public lives - from the first purple Prada dress she wore to the Oscars - Uma really wears the clothing, the clothes don't wear her. Uma has charisma and knowledge, it's what makes her so real - she is it - and who better to front such an event.”

Nick Scott, Executive Producer of the event, adds "We are thrilled that Uma Thurman has agreed to co-host this year’s event. Uma is regarded as one of the most versatile actresses of her generation and is renowned for her impeccable sense of style both on and off-screen. Uma’s ethereal personality holds audiences captive worldwide, and her long-standing friendship with Samuel L. Jackson will make the pair an incredible team in hosting Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust 2007.”

"Swarovski is proud to sponsor this year’s event," Nadja Swarovski, Vice-President of International Communications for Swarovski confirms, “We are delighted that Uma Thurman will co-host this year’s Swarovski Fashion Rocks. Uma is the ideal woman for the job - she combines style and beauty with natural charisma. Swarovski have a long established relationship with the legends of Hollywood, and it is fantastic that we can continue this with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, two of Hollywood’s greats.”

Estée Lauder will head up the largest ever team of make-up artists at one event, to transform the models for each designer segment.

Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust will be televised on Channel 4 in the UK and also worldwide from late October.

Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust: The history

In 2006, Big Group Ltd and Premium International Ltd purchased the Fashion Rocks brand from The Princes Trust securing a partnership that would enable The Trust to benefit from all future Fashion Rocks events.
