LOST GENERATION?
NO. JUST
UNDISCOVERED
Every day The Prince's Trust helps 100 more
young people. Each of their stories is different.

We've made a film with a Trust-supported business, and the help of some celebrity ambassadors, to reinforce the message of the Undiscovered campaign.

"I got kicked out of my mum's house when I was 17. We just argued all the time. I moved into a local hostel. And that was a bad idea. There were no wardens or anything. The Trust made me think I could have a good job"

"Eventually, after about 10 to 15 detoxes and another four treatment centres I managed to get clean again. It was around that time that someone mentioned that they’d got money from The Trust to start up in business."

"I got made redundant. It was a tough time. Nowhere to turn to for help or support. I was going for jobs and competing with a lot more people who had more qualifications. Without The Prince's Trust I wouldn’t be here today."

"I left school with no qualifications. Every time you would go down to the job centre there were jobs for mechanics but you had to have qualifications. Without The Prince's Trust and Arnold Clark, I wouldn’t have made it."

"No one was willing to take me on. My sister put me up for an apprenticeship. The Prince’s Trust contacted me about Get into Construction."

"Without The Prince's Trust, I don’t think I would have stayed at college. They helped me stick it out and now I really enjoy it. I didn't trust anyone because I had been bullied at school. But The Trust reminded me that not everyone was bad."
