The Prince’s Trust Support
There is currently a network of over 600
schools and centres running Prince's Trust xl clubs across the UK
working with over 10,000 young people.
The Prince's Trust will support you from the
moment you sign up to run the xl programme, right the way through
to when you celebrate the achievement of the young people when they
leave. Our support includes:
- all programme materials, including teaching and learning
resources for the Adviser who will be running the programme and
each young person, comprehensive training to get you started as
well as to support you to deliver the qualification throughout the
programme, and verification to help all young people achieve their
qualification
- support in building Portfolios for Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2
qualifications in Personal Development and Team Work. This is a
unit-based qualification that builds 'evidence' which falls
naturally out of the work you will be doing with theyoung
people
- a dedicated Prince’s Trust staff member in your region or
country to help set up and oversee the progress of your Prince's
Trust xl club. They will help you with anything you may need,
as well as visit you at your school or centre to see how the
programme is going and meet the young people involved
- access to a UK-wide network of clubs and regional events to
share good practice and ideas
- opportunities to get involved with sports and corporate
partners (where possible) to help widen your activity options and
offer young people something different
