Peter Cruddas

Founding Enterprise Fellow. With his gift of £1.5 million, CMC Markets Chief Executive, Peter Cruddas, is The Enterprise Fellowship’s founding fellow and one of the largest ever individual donors to The Prince’s Trust.

I continue to believe that young people deserve all the opportunities they can get. My donation is my way of helping young people across Britain and beyond to develop to their full potential. I am delighted to be involved with this magnificent organisation and everything it represents.

- Peter Cruddas, Chairman & Chief Executive, CMC Markets

Peter Cruddas - Founding Enterprise FellowPeter’s commitment to young people stems from his own humble beginnings in the East End when he left school at just 15. Peter has a real understanding of the experience that young people face and the difference that support and advice can make.

Founding CMC Markets in 1989, Peter’s entrepreneurial talents have fashioned a company that is now considered a global leader in online financial trading. The company, originally focussed on Foreign Exchange, now handles around six million trades annually with an average value of $2 billion per business day.
