Nick Jenkins founded Moonpig.com, the online greeting card
retailer, in 1999 after spending eight years running a commodity
trading business in Moscow. Moonpig.com has over 3 million
customers and has now launched in Australia and the US.
My own entrepreneurial journey was relatively
painless. I had the privilege of a good education and success
seemed like a very reasonable aspiration. I am amazed by some of
the young people I have met at the Prince's Trust who have really
battled against the odds to get to where they are. They are truly
inspirational. When there are so many people in our society who
have slipped into a dependency culture it is a real pleasure to
work with people who are working so hard to develop
themselves.
