Care.
Graham Baker of
Butcher’s Pet Care spent over 30 years with his brothers in the
beef industry. As an offshoot of that he started a pet food canning
business to use up the by-products from their large abattoir. Today
Butcher’s Pet Care produces almost 100,000 tons of finished
products a year, filling as many as 5,000,000 cans per week, and
has 20% of the canned dog food market.
In 2007 he concluded a family restructuring which gave him full
ownership of the company.
