Prince’s Trust xl clubs provide a personal development programme aimed at young people aged 13-19 at risk of underachievement or exclusion from school. It offers young people an alternative way to achieve a recognised qualification covering activity areas such as Personal, Interpersonal and Team Skills; Active Citizenship; Enterprise and Entrepreneurship; and Preparation for Work. Prince’s Trust xl clubs are run throughout Northern Ireland in Schools, Alternative Education Providers and Youth Clubs.

Support from The Prince’s Trust includes:

  • all curriculum materials and resources
  • Adviser training and verification sessions throughout the year
  • a dedicated Prince’s Trust staff member to guide and advise
  • access to a network of Prince’s Trust xl clubs and regional events to share good practice and ideas
