Enterprise Programme receives
£80,000 boost from RBS
Group
The Prince’s Trust in
Northern Ireland has announced a £80K two year partnership with
Ulster Bank, part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, to support
the charity’s Enterprise Programme.
The RBS Group has been working with The Prince’s Trust for
over ten years and this latest financial investment constitutes a
significant boost for the Enterprise
Programme which helps disadvantaged young people to explore and
test their business ideas, work out whether self employment is
right for them and start up in business, or achieve alternative
goals in employment, education or training.
Richard Donnan, Managing Director Retail
Markets, Ulster Bank, outlined the reason for their continued
support of The Prince’s Trust saying:
As a Platinum Patron of The Prince’s Trust our
relationship centres on RBS’s commitment to enterprise in
disadvantaged areas throughout Northern Ireland. Over the next two
years, we intend to build on the solid foundations of our
partnership and continue to support disadvantaged young
people.
Ian Jeffers, Director of The Prince’s Trust in
Northern Ireland paid tribute to The Royal Bank of Scotland and
Ulster Bank saying:
I would like to say a huge thanks to RBS and
Ulster Bank Group and their employees for all their continued
commitment to our work. We are proud to count RBS as a Patron
and look forward to working together over the next couple of years
to get even more young lives working.
