If you're living in a rural area in Yorkshire and the Humber and want to start your own business, we're ready to support you.
If you're aged 18-30 and have an idea for a business but are struggling to overcome the barriers of living in a rural area and can't raise all the cash you need, then we could help you get up and running.
With start-up support from The Prince's Trust ROSE (Rural Opportunities for Self Employment) you could get:
- a low interest loan of up to £4,000 for a sole trader, or up to £5,000 for a partnership
- a grant of up to £1,500 in special circumstances
- a ROSE Communication Grant of up to £1,000 for tools to help you overcome rural barriers (i.e. IT equipment, website design, driving lessons or a business vehicle)
- a test marketing grant of up to £250
- ongoing business support and specialist advice such as our free Legal Helpline.
- ongoing advice from Prince's Trust staff and a volunteer business mentor
- peer networking
