The winning Team Deloitte Touch Manchester raised more than any other team with over £28,000.
The Halliwells Corporate Challenge for The Prince’s Trust saw businesses in Greater Manchester each given £50 by Halliwells LLP. They had 3 months to turn this "stake" into as much as they could, using their business ingenuity and entrepreneurship. Staff at all levels at the Manchester based office of law firm Halliwells competed against Manchester-based companies to raise the most money.
It was the firm’s most successful ever fundraising initiative. Over 100 companies took up the challenge- raising more than £200,000.
The Halliwells LLP team together raised over £20,000 during the challenge.
Ian Austin, Managing Partner, said: “To raise this amount of money for The Trust is a fantastic achievement. The whole firm really rallied together. It was a superb effort.”

Fundraising tips from Deloitte: :: Start your campaign as early as possible :: Send weekly e-mails :: Use anything and everything at your disposal :: We used the office as opposed to hiring a bar :: Arrange for the day to be a dress down day to make sure there was a party atmosphere :: Keep it simple- we did things we knew we'd like to do ourselves as opposed to organising over-complicated costly events.
