Enterprise Project: A boost to your career, a benefit to those we help
Enterprise Project is fundraising with the best of both worlds: You learn new skills, build a business network and develop your career, all while supporting the work of The Prince's Trust.
The scheme takes a challenge approach. On a project team of like-minded people from your company, you work together to put on an event or activity - a mini-enterprise - that raises £20,000 for The Trust.
Anyone from your company can take part in Enterprise Project. To succeed in the challenge, you will have to:
work in a team with new people from different operational backgrounds
develop a business plan
manage projects and budgets
meet deadlines
market your activity
deliver an event
We know you can do it. That's why we can provide a small amount of seed funding, subject to approval of your business plan, as collateral for your team to make the project work. It's up to you to invest it wisely.
Your commitment, our support You'll need to commit to the group for typically 25 hours during working time and some of your own time too. Your group of around ten will meet monthly for six to eight months until the event is complete. The Prince's Trust will host the first meeting and a representative from The Trust will always be on hand to help you.
Worthy precedents Previous successful events have included a St. Patrick's Night Party, a brass band concert, a Valentine's Ball, a Christmas celebration, a fun run and a celebrity football match.
