Would-be entrepreneurs from Brighton and Hove were given a helping hand last month thanks to Get Started. The 13 strong group learnt the important first steps of starting a business and were given talks and practical exercises on creating business plans and PR and marketing strategies.
The three-week course ended with all participants passing the course and being awarded a Level 2 National Award in Enterprise Skills certificate. They now have the option to start-up a business thanks to The Trust's Business Programme or receive further support or advice from Trust staff.
Adam, a poet and artist who took part said: "The knowledge and skills I have gained are priceless. The financing and forecasting has helped my business become a reality, so thank you!"
